Quotes and scope

The standard offer is one professionally designed page for £99 plus £10 per month managed hosting. Written confirmation will define the included sections, customer contact route, supplied content, one revision round and any excluded costs before paid work starts. Requests outside that scope may be declined or priced separately.

Payments

• The initial enquiry and website direction are free.
• If the client chooses to proceed, the £99 build fee is paid before the full website is completed and launched.
• The £10 managed-hosting fee is paid monthly in advance from launch using the agreed payment method.
• Completion, launch or handover may wait until any agreed payment has been received.

Client content

The client is responsible for sending accurate text, photos, logo files, contact details, service information and any legal or industry-specific wording the business needs. Delays in content can delay the project.

Domains, hosting and third-party costs

Managed hosting is part of the standard offer at £10 per month. It includes deployment, SSL, routine availability and enquiry-form checks, and fixes for hosting-related faults. It does not include regular content edits, redesigns or new features. Clients can own their domain and supplied content. Domain names, business email, paid services and third-party subscriptions are separate unless included in writing. If hosting is cancelled, the site remains available through the paid period; any migration or handover work must be agreed separately.

Revisions and launch

The £99 build includes one revision round. Small agreed changes can be grouped into that round, but a redesign, extra page, additional revision or new feature is outside the standard scope. Before launch, the website will be checked on mobile and desktop, links will be tested and final approval will be confirmed by email.

Portfolio use

SebsWebs may show finished work in its portfolio unless the client asks in writing not to. SebsWebs may also include a small "Website by SebsWebs" credit link in the website footer, unless agreed otherwise before the project starts. Any private logins, passwords or sensitive business information will not be published.

Data protection on client projects

The client is normally responsible for deciding why and how personal information is collected through its website. Where SebsWebs hosts, maintains or accesses a system containing the client's customer information, the parties will agree the relevant data-protection responsibilities in writing before that feature is launched.

• The client is responsible for providing suitable privacy information and identifying a lawful basis for its customer-data uses.
• SebsWebs will only access or use client personal information as needed to deliver documented services, maintain security or comply with the law.
• Access controls, hosting providers, backups, retention, deletion and handover arrangements should be agreed for editable sites, customer-submission tools and managed hosting.
• Clients should not send passwords or sensitive personal information through the public quote form.
